Since this is a pretty simple project that can be used for a variety of other purposes as well (which I'll list for you later in the post), I wanted to show you how we made it so you can try it for yourself. It's a great way to add some personality to your home without spending a lot of money, and it's far simpler than wallpaper! - butterfly wall decor

I wanted to create the appearance of butterflies flying over the wall in my daughter's room, as if they were leaving the house that is her bookcase and flying out of the window because she adores butterflies.

This looked to be a lot more affordable way to include her favourite things without making many changes—ideal! (And when she gets older, they can be simply taken off and changed.)

A simple search on the internet immediately convinced me that my original plan to cut out each and every one by hand was not the greatest one (!) - and I discovered this incredible butterfly punch on Amazon that is a part of the Martha Stewart craft product line - a new firm favourite!  - butterfly wall decor

TIP - There are many various cutters to choose from, but I opted for a straightforward design because I thought it would work best on a wall. It's important to confirm the real size of the cutout before making a purchase. I also chose the largest cutter I could so that the butterflies wouldn't be entirely lost on the wall.
